About me

I am Günther Pfeffer, a passionate IT Professional from Vienna, Austria. I have a Bachelor degree in Information Technology, which I completed with a Master degree in Technical Management. At the moment I am working on my thesis to graduate with a Master degree in Business Informatics. By attending summer school courses at the London School of Economics and the Peking University I was able to furthermore enhance my educational background.
Other than that I have worked on a bunch of challenging projects for various customers in the last seven years. I collaborated with start-ups, for instance meinkauf.at, where my main responsibilites were workflow automization continuous integration, and a quality assurance initiative. On the other hand I was working for the world's largest pharmaceutical company Pfizer Inc. During that time I spent the majority of my time for iDetailing. This server/(iPad)-client based system for optimizing sales activities by closed-loop-marketing was rolled out in more than 30 countries world wide.
In my spare time I charge my batteries by doing a lot of sports. Therefore you can often find me running through Vienna, on the Football pitch or in the gym. But if you don't find me there, I might be away for a trip - I love to travel and get to know other cultures, countries and of course people. Furthermore I am interested in IT & business trends and new technologies coming up as well as politics and various kinds of music.
